Part of the prolific spindle family, Euonymus is a tough lad and a shape-shifter: silvery white-edged leaves start out round, then get a bit square as they grow, before turning round again. We love that he's always keeping us on our toes.
Native to China, Japan, and Korea, his wood is extremely durable and has long been used for a variety of purposes, including as artists' charcoal, knitting needles, and musical instruments. With their short stature, they’re especially suitable for mini-garden arrangements and terrariums!
